Propolis tincture 10% 50 ml in alcohol
Propolis is plant resins and balms collected by bees with impurities of wax, pollen and secretions of the jaw glands of bees.

Propolis is sometimes called a natural antibiotic; it has strong antimicrobial, antiviral, analgesic and stimulating effects, but does not cause dysbacteriosis. It increases the body's defenses, enhances the body's anti-inflammatory reactions, and promotes wound healing. Very effective for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, diseases of the respiratory tract and ENT organs, skin, nervous system, gynecological, dental diseases, etc. Propolis preparations stimulate the immune system.

Propolis tincture - preparation and use
Usually a 10% alcohol tincture of propolis is used: 100 g of propolis is poured into 1 liter of 70% alcohol (1:10), tightly closed and infused in a dark place for 8-10 days, shaking daily. The drug is used externally, internally, and also for inhalation.

Externally, the alcohol extract of propolis is used to treat diseases of the oral mucosa, gums, teeth, chronic tonsillitis (in the form of rinses - 1 teaspoon of extract per 1 glass of water, rinse after meals), to treat wounds and cuts.

Propolis alcohol extract can be taken for colds and flu, acute and chronic bronchitis, inflammation and pulmonary tuberculosis, hypertension, stomach and duodenal ulcers, acute and chronic colitis, etc.

Application:
The dose can be 20-60 drops. Take it in 1/4-1/2 glass of water or milk, the course of treatment is 5-30 days (depending on the disease, for gastric ulcer it is 3-4 weeks, if necessary it can be repeated after a 10-15 day break) .

The dose for children is calculated according to the principle: for a 1 year old child - 1/20 of the adult dose. A 10-year-old child, for example, is prescribed 1/2 the adult dose.

For a cold, for example, dilute 20 drops of propolis in ¼ glass of water or milk and take several times every 2:00. The next day, take 3 times a day until recovery.

Contraindications:
allergy to propolis or other components of the drug, Addison's disease.
