This quantity 10 is enough to obtain 1500 grams of 3%  solution
100 ml of solution contains 3 g of boric acid;
dissolve -ethyl,  ethanol 96%, purified water.

Pharmacological properties.
Pharmacodynamics.
The drug has an antiseptic effect. Coagulates proteins (including enzymes) of the microbial cell, disrupts the permeability of the cell membrane, thereby inhibiting the growth and development of bacteria.
Pharmacokinetics.When applied externally, the drug is absorbed through  damaged skin, wound surface; in case of accidental ingestion - through the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract. Boric acid can accumulate in body tissues. It is eliminated from the body slowly.
Clinical characteristics.
Indications.
Pyoderma, weeping eczema, diaper rash, acute and chronic otitis media.
Contraindications.
–    Hypersensitivity to boric acid;
–    renal dysfunction;
–    chronic mesotympanitis with normal or slightly changed mucous membrane;
–    traumatic perforation of the eardrum;
–    periods of pregnancy and lactation, including for treatment of the mammary glands;
–    children (including newborns).
Proper security measures.
Do not use the drug on large areas of skin, do not use for washing cavities. Do not allow the drug to get into your eyes.
You should not violate the rules for using the medicine, this can harm your health.

Method of administration and dose.
Apply externally. For pyoderma, diaper rash, eczema, the affected areas of the skin are treated with a napkin pre-moistened with the drug 2-3 times a day.
For otitis media, turunda moistened with a solution is inserted into the external auditory canal or 3-5 drops are instilled 2-3 times a day.
Children. The drug is not used for children.
Overdose.
In case of accidental ingestion of the drug, perform gastric tube lavage, prescribe oral saline laxatives, enterosorbents (activated carbon), and symptomatic therapy.
Symptoms of acute poisoning: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, circulatory disorders and central nervous system depression, decreased body temperature, shock, coma, erythematous rash.In case of severe poisoning, measures are taken to maintain the vital functions of the body, hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, and replacement blood transfusion are performed. With prolonged use of the drug over large areas of skin, symptoms of chronic intoxication may occur: tissue swelling, exhaustion, stomatitis, eczema, menstrual irregularities in women, anemia, convulsions, alopecia.In these cases, the drug is discontinued and symptomatic treatment is carried out.
Adverse reactions.
The use of the drug may cause allergic reactions (redness of the skin, itching, hives, rash, swelling). In isolated cases - the development of an anaphylactic reaction, including shock; desquamation of the epithelium.
With long-term use and in patients with impaired renal function, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea,  headache, confusion, oliguria, convulsions.
