Bioseptin ointment is used:
– for the treatment of wounds (infected and uninfected), purulent-necrotic processes, burns, bedsores, dermatitis;
– in the prevention and treatment of any skin diseases as an auxiliary or primary remedy;
– herpes, dermatitis and dermatoses, fungal skin infections, acne, psoriasis, bedsores, trophic ulcers, mastitis, hemorrhoids, etc.
   High efficiency has been registered in the treatment and prevention of these diseases.
The wide range of effectiveness of the ointment is ensured by its property: to restore and maintain the qualitative and quantitative composition in the populations of microbes that make up the microbiocenosis on the surface of the skin.
   Composition. spores of bacteria Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis on an agar base with the addition of ethyl alcohol.
   Properties and mechanism of action. Bioseptin - ointment is intended for use as a skin care product. The ointment has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and proteolytic properties. The spores contained in the ointment have high antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms. The ointment stimulates wound healing processes.
   Enzymes contained in the ointment lyse dead skin cells. Biologically active substances stimulate local immunity and suppress the growth and development of microflora, the interaction of which with dead cells causes an unpleasant odor.
   In addition, they help restore and maintain the population of microorganisms that make up the normal flora of the skin surface, which ensures its optimal condition and stimulates protective functions.When treating infected and non-infected wounds, bacterial waste products contained in the ointment destroy pathogenic, opportunistic, putrefactive microorganisms present on the treated surface, cause lysis of necrotic tissue, at the same time they promote the proliferation of normal wound microflora, including the bacteria Basillus subtilis and Basillus licheniformis.  Since these bacteria are aerobes, they form a film on the surface of the wound, which prevents the penetration of foreign microorganisms from the external environment into the wound cavity and ensures the prolonged action of the ointment. Wounds treated with Bioseptin do not need to be bandaged.
Application procedure. The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the damaged area at least 2 times a day every day until recovery. 
The ointment is non-irritating and does not cause allergic reactions.  
Contraindications for use. It is prohibited to use the drug together with antibiotics, sulfonamides and other antiseptic drugs.  
Allergy to Bacillus hay. In this case, after the first use, a rash will appear on the body, which will go away 1-2 days after stopping use.  
Release form: Ointment packaged in 60 ml tubes made of polymer materials.  
Store in a cool, dry place.  
Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.

Ointment for external use light yellow to brown in color, homogeneous, jelly-like consistency, with a specific odor of agar.
Contains as active ingredients: bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM B-10642 (DSM 24614) and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM B-10643 (DSM 24615), as well as excipients: agar nutrient medium after growing these bacteria, ethanol.
Packaged in 60 g, 500 g, 1 kg, 2 kg in polymer tubes or in polymer jars.  
Each unit of consumer packaging is supplied with instructions for use.

Pharmacological (biological) properties and effects
Bioseptin has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and proteolytic properties.The bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM B-10642 (DSM 24614) and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM B-10643 (DSM 24615), contained in Bioseptin ointment, cause lysis of necrotic tissues, have an inhibitory effect on aerobic and anaerobic, predominantly gram-positive microorganisms present on the wound surfaces and prevent the penetration of microorganisms from the external environment into the wound cavity.Wounds treated with Bioseptin do not need to be bandaged.
1 g of ointment contains 1×10⁶ CFU (colony-forming units) of living microbial cells of the bacterial strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens VKPM V-10642 (DSM 24614) and the bacterial strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM V-10643 (DSM 24615).
Indications for use of the drug BIOSEPTIN
- for the treatment of wounds, burns and dermatitis. also in domestic, agricultural, wild animals, incl.fur-bearing animals and birds.
Application procedure
For therapeutic purposes, the drug is prescribed externally - applied daily in a thin layer to the damaged area at least 1-2 times a day until recovery.
Special measures are not provided for skipping one or more doses of the drug; the course of treatment and prevention is continued.
The specific effects of the drug upon first use or its withdrawal have not been established.
Side effects
When using the drug in accordance with the instructions, no side effects or complications are observed.
There were no symptoms of toxicosis or other adverse reactions with an overdose of Bioseptin ointment.
Contraindications to the use of the drug BIOSEPTIN
There are no contraindications for the use of the drug.
Special instructions and personal precautions
It is prohibited to prescribe Bioseptin simultaneously with antibiotics and sulfonamides.
Animal slaughter products after using Bioseptin are sold without restrictions.
Personal prevention measures
When using the drug Bioseptin, you should follow the rules of personal hygiene and safety precautions provided for when working with medicinal products for veterinary use.
No special precautions are required when working with the drug.
When working with the drug, do not drink, smoke or eat. After work, you should wash your hands with soap.In case of contact with skin and/or mucous membranes, it is recommended to rinse them with plenty of tap water.
Storage conditions and periods
Bioseptin should be stored and transported in the manufacturer's packaging in a dry place, protected from light, out of reach of children, at a temperature of 0°C to 10°C. After opening the initial packaging, the drug is stored at room temperature for 15 days.Shelf life - 2 years from the date of issue, subject to storage and transportation conditions. After the expiration date, the drug is not suitable for use.
Tubes and jars with the drug without labels, with an expired expiration date, with the integrity and/or tightness of the packaging, containing foreign impurities, with a changed color, as well as remnants of the drug that have not been used within 15 days after opening the original packaging, are subject to rejection and subsequent disposal with household waste.
