Method of use and dosage: Externally. Bioseptin cosmetic gel can be used without age restrictions. Before applying the gel, wash your skin thoroughly with water or a mild cleanser and then dry.The gel is applied in a thin layer twice a day (morning and evening) and lightly rubbed in. Apply a thin layer 2 times a day (morning and evening) and rub in lightly. Release form: in tubes of 60 ml made of polymer materials, with annotation placed in a cardboard box. Shelf life - 2 years from the date of manufacture.Store at temperatures from 0 to 10 °C

Form of release, composition and packaging

Ointment for external use light yellow to brown in color, homogeneous, jelly-like consistency, with a specific odor of agar.

Contains as active ingredients: bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM B-10642 (DSM 24614) and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM B-10643 (DSM 24615), as well as excipients: agar nutrient medium after growing these bacteria, ethanol.

Packaged in 60 g, 500 g, 1 kg, 2 kg in polymer tubes or in polymer jars. 
Each unit of consumer packaging is supplied with instructions for use.

Pharmacological (biological) properties and effects

Bioseptin has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and proteolytic properties.The bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM B-10642 (DSM 24614) and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM B-10643 (DSM 24615), contained in Bioseptin ointment, cause lysis of necrotic tissues, have an inhibitory effect on aerobic and anaerobic, predominantly gram-positive microorganisms present on the wound surfaces and prevent the penetration of microorganisms from the external environment into the wound cavity.Wounds treated with Bioseptin do not need to be bandaged.

1 g of ointment contains 1×106 CFU (colony-forming units) of living microbial cells of the bacterial strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens VKPM V-10642 (DSM 24614) and the bacterial strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM V-10643 (DSM 24615).

Indications for use of the drug BIOSEPTIN

—for the treatment of wounds, burns and dermatitis  . also in domestic, agricultural, and wild animals, including fur-bearing animals and birds.

Application order

With therapeutic purposes the drug is prescribed externally - daily applied in a thin layer to the damaged area at least 1-2 times a day until recovery.

Special measures are not provided for skipping one or more doses of the drug; the course of treatment and prevention is continued.

Features of the drug’s effect upon first use or its withdrawal have not been established.

Side effects

When using the drug in accordance with the instructions, no side effects or complications are observed.

No symptoms of toxicosis or other adverse reactions with an overdose of Bioseptin ointment have been identified.

Contraindications to the use of the drug BIOSEPTIN

No contraindications for the use of the drug have been identified.

Special instructions and personal preventive measures

It is prohibited to prescribe Bioseptin simultaneously with antibiotics and sulfonamides.

Animal slaughter products after using Bioseptin are sold without restrictions.

Personal prevention measures

When using the drug Bioseptin, you should follow the rules of personal hygiene and safety precautions provided for when working with medicinal products for veterinary use.

Special precautions when working with the drug are not required.

When working with the drug, do not drink, smoke or eat. After work, you should wash your hands with soap. In case of contact with skin and/or mucous membranes, it is recommended to rinse them with plenty of tap water.

Storage conditions and periods

Bioseptin should be stored and transported in the manufacturer's packaging in a dry place, protected from light, out of reach of children at a temperature of 0°C to 10°C.After opening the initial packaging, the drug is stored at room temperature for 15 days. Shelf life - 2 years from the date of issue, subject to storage and transportation conditions. After the expiration date, the drug is not suitable for use.

Tubes and jars with the drug without labels, with an expired expiration date, with the integrity and/or tightness of the packaging broken, containing foreign impurities, with a discoloration, as well as remnants of the drug that have not been used within 15 days after opening the initial packaging, are subject to rejection and subsequent disposal with household waste.
