  • Mumiyo is a natural bioregulator, adaptogen, source of micro- and macroelements, amino acids, antioxidants and many other active substances necessary for the full functioning of the body. Under its influence, immune forces are activated, the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and all metabolic processes are normalized.Shilajit helps to increase the reparative (restorative) functions of cells, in particular musculoskeletal tissues. The effectiveness of using mumiyo for injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system has been proven.

    Mumiyo has a highly effective stimulating effect on the healing process of fractures, healing time is reduced to 16-20 days.
    Mumiyo compensates for the body's negative reaction to injury, normalizes the blood picture, thereby increasing the physiological functions of the entire body.
    During the most critical period of bone tissue regeneration (10-15 days after injury), mumiyo increases the concentration of alkaline phosphatase in the blood; in subsequent days, when the need for this enzyme gradually disappears, it significantly reduces it.
    Mumiyo has a pronounced normalizing effect on the level of potassium, calcium and inorganic phosphorus in the blood; it promotes the growth of bone tissue from the bone marrow and periosteum; massive bone callus fills the gaps between bone fragments.
    Under the influence of mumiyo, the overall reactivity of the body increases, characterized by the rapid disappearance of autoantigens (tissue destroyers) and the pathological focus, rapid cleansing of wounds is observed, purulent discharge decreases, early granulation and epithelization of wounds begins.
    The flow of autoantigens into the blood and the production of autoantibodies are reduced, and the quality of bone regenerate is significantly improved in cases of complicated open fractures (ostiomelitis, etc.).
    Usually there is an increase in transaminase activity, which is directly dependent on the degree of intoxication of the body with the products of the purulent-necrotic process.
    The use of mumiyo in complex therapy for open fractures normalizes transaminase activity, which is necessary for normal enzymatic activity of the body.
    Patients experience a marked improvement in their general condition, body temperature and sleep normalize, appetite improves, weight is restored, swelling decreases, and full function of the injured limb is observed.

    For broken bones or severe bruises, dislocations or muscle strains: mummy in volume 0. 2 – 0.5 g.  should be taken orally. At the same time, it is necessary to rub the damaged areas.
    Research in the field of surgery and traumatology, which has been carried out for more than one year, allows us to conclude that mumiyo for fractures is one of the effective means for treating injuries of various types.
    It has been proven that the use of mumiyo for fractures reduces the time for fusion of bone tissue by almost 3 weeks.This Altai medicine prevents various complications and displacements from appearing, especially during the most critical period, when the callus begins to harden (from 10 to 15 days of injury).

    Mumiyo  - indications for use
    Fractures, wounds, cracks, ruptures, postoperative condition; thermal, chemical burns; ulcers: stomach, duodenum, trophic; diseases of the digestive system, including dyspepsia, constipation; impotence; radiculitis, nephritis, neurology, osteochondrosis; urogenital tract infections; inflammatory and allergic diseases of the upper respiratory tract, bronchial asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia; as a prophylactic agent that mitigates the effects of harmful environmental factors; as a general tonic that restores decreased vital functions of the body and relieves fatigue and stress.

    Contraindications
    Individual intolerance to Mumiyo components, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

    Method of administration and dose
    Take diluted mumiyo on an empty stomach 1 - 2 times a day, morning and evening. One course of treatment is 25 - 28 days. At an advanced stage of the disease, repeat the course after 10 days. Take the quantity of mumiyo in accordance with the table.
    It is advisable to dilute it in milk in a ratio of 1:20 (2 - 3 tablespoons). It can also be diluted in water, adding honey to taste. It is useful to alternate dilution of mumiyo with juices (grape, cucumber). During the treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver, it is necessary to follow a diet.

    Mumiyo is a natural substance found mainly in the Himalayas.It is formed over centuries through the gradual decomposition of plants under the influence of microorganisms. This is a powerful and safe dietary supplement that restores a person's energy balance and can potentially prevent certain diseases.
    Mumiyo, also known as salajit, shilajatu, mimie or mummiyo in northern India, has been called an ancient panacea and a wonderful gift of God.And like most supposed panaceas, it was prescribed a rejuvenating effect, and traditional healers used it as a tonic, adaptogenic and anti-stress remedy.
    Mumiyo is a sticky substance, has a bitter taste and smell reminiscent of cow urine. The substance is processed by various supplement manufacturers and sold in capsule or powder form.
    It should be remembered that dietary supplements, as a rule, do not require serious clinical studies. They meet certain manufacturing standards, but are not guaranteed to be safe or effective.
    The FDA has not approved shilajit supplements for medical use. Please consult your physician.

    Types and origin of mumiyo

    The main source of mumiyo production is the Himalayan mountains between India and Nepal. It has also been discovered in Russia, Tibet, Afghanistan, and recently in northern Chile. The health benefits have been shown to vary from region to region, depending on where it was extracted.
    The exact composition of mumiyo depends on factors such as:
    plant variety;
    soil quality;
    geographical origin of the breed;
    local temperatures;
    humidity;
    altitude above sea level.

    For example, mumiyo from Northern India contains more fulvic acids (~ 21%) than mumiyo from Nepal (~ 15%), Pakistan (~ 15%) and Russia (~ 19%). However, mumiyo from Nepal contains more other biologically active compounds.
    Today four varieties of mumiyo are known:
    Golden mumiyo, which is actually reddish in color (Savrana);
    Silver mumiyo, white (Rajat);
    Copper mumiyo, blue (Tamra);
    Iron-containing mumiyo of brown-black color (Lauha).
    The rarest varieties are gold and copper.
    Despite scientific research and traditional use, the exact origin of mumiyo still remains a mystery.Given that maturation takes a long time and occurs spontaneously, current theories are the best guess scientists can make. The process of making mumiyo has never been scientifically reproduced or confirmed.

    Composition of mumiyo
    Mumiyo consists mainly of humic substances, including fulvic acids, which account for 60 to 80% of the total nutraceutical compound, plus some oligoelements, including selenium, which has anti-aging properties.
    Humic substances are the result of the degradation of organic matter, mainly plant matter, which is the result of the action of many microorganisms.

    Mumiyo contains:
    30 microelements;
    28 chemical elements;
    10 metal oxides;
    6 amino acids;
    an impressive range of different vitamins, especially many B vitamins;
    essential oils;
    bee venom;
    fulvic acid, main active ingredient;
    humic acid (and uronic acids);
    other plant and microbial metabolites (such as dibenzo-alpha-pyrones);
    small peptides and amino acids;
    some lipids;
    phenolic glycosides.

    Scientists hypothesize that fulvic acid acts as a carrier molecule in the body, helping to transport nutrients into deep tissues and remove deep-seated toxins. According to this theory, the bioactive compounds in shilajit enhance the benefits and bioavailability of other herbs. However, there is insufficient evidence to support this concept.
    Thanks to modern research, it has become known that mumiyo contains fungi that are very similar in properties to penicillin; thanks to these fungi, mumiyo can act as a reliable bactericidal agent in the treatment of a large number of infectious diseases, for example, dysentery, tuberculosis and any diseases that are associated with inflammatory processes.

    12 proven medicinal properties of mumiyo
    The complex composition of mumiyo determines its healing properties; mumiyo contains biologically active substances that dilate blood vessels well, and this is extremely important in the treatment of hypertension, sclerosis, headaches, heart attacks, as well as some diseases that are directly related to metabolic disorders.

    Let's look at this in more detail:

    1 Protects against Alzheimer's disease
    The main component of mumiyo is an antioxidant known as fulvic acid. This powerful antioxidant promotes cognitive health by preventing the buildup of tau protein. Tau proteins are an important part of our nervous system, but its accumulation can cause damage to brain cells.
    Scientists believe that the fulvic acid in shilajit may stop the abnormal accumulation of tau protein and reduce inflammation, potentially improving symptoms of Alzheimer's disease.
    However, more research and clinical trials are needed.

    2 Treats male infertility and increases testosterone
    Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone, but some men have lower levels than others.
    Signs of low testosterone include:
    Low sexual desire;
    Hair loss;
    Loss of muscle mass;
    Fatigue;
    Increase in fat.
    Mumiyo has also been studied to enhance male fertility. In one study, 60 infertile men took shilajit twice a day for 90 days.
    After the testing period, nearly half of the men who completed treatment experienced increases in total sperm count and sperm motility, as well as how many and how well sperm move toward the egg, both of which are factors in male fertility.
    Another study examined Shilajit's ability to increase testosterone levels in healthy volunteers.Men aged 45 - 55 years received mumiyo for 90 days. At the end of this period, the researchers noted a significant increase in testosterone levels.

    3 Reduces fatigue
    Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a disease characterized by prolonged physical and mental fatigue that does not go away after rest or sleep, accompanied by numerous joint, muscle, infectious and neuropsychological symptoms.Researchers believe that shilajit supplements may reduce CFS symptoms and restore energy.
    CFS has been linked to mitochondrial dysfunction. This is when cells don't produce enough energy.
    In a 2012 study, researchers gave lab rats shilajit for 21 days and then induced CFS by having the rats swim for 15 minutes for 21 days straight.The results showed that shilajit helped reduce the impact of CFS.
    Researchers noted that shilajit can help improve cell function in the body, meaning it can reduce fatigue and naturally increase energy levels.

    4 Acts as an antioxidant
    Because shilajit is rich in fulvic acid, a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, it may also protect against free radicals and cell damage. As a result, regular use of shilajit can promote longevity, slow the aging process, and improve overall health.

    5 Helps with altitude sickness
    Signs of this condition:
    Pulmonary edema.
    Lethargy or feeling tired.
    Hypoxia.
    Altitude sickness can be caused by low air pressure, cold temperatures or high wind speeds. Researchers believe that shilajit can help overcome problems with height.It can function as an antioxidant to improve immunity and memory, as an anti-inflammatory, as an energy booster, and as a diuretic to remove excess fluid from the body. Because of these benefits, shilajit is believed to help counteract many altitude-related symptoms. [7]

    6 Increases hemoglobin
    Iron deficiency anemia can result from a diet low in iron, blood loss, or an inability to absorb iron.
    Symptoms include:
    Fatigue.
    Weakness.
    Cold hands and feet.
    Headache.
    Arrhythmia.
    However, shilajit supplements can gradually increase iron levels.
    A study was conducted on rats. 18 rats were divided into three groups. The researchers induced anemia in the second and third groups. On the 11th day of the study, rats in the third group received 500 mg of mumiyo. On day 21, blood samples were collected from all groups. The results showed that the rats in the third group had higher levels of hemoglobin, hematocrit and red blood cells compared to the rats in the second group.These are all vital components of blood.
    Shilajit contains high levels of humic acid and iron, which may be useful in treating iron deficiency anemia.

    7 Strengthens the heart
    Shilajit may also protect the heart and improve heart health. A recent study using rats found that shilajit has protective effects on the heart.
    After pre-treatment with shilajit, some rats were given isoproterenol to cause heart damage. The study found that rats given shilajit before heart injury had fewer heart lesions.
    It is important to note that shilajit may lower blood pressure in some cases and should not be taken by those with active heart disease.

    8 Promotes weight loss
    Excess weight tires muscles and puts stress on bones. A study in the Journal of Medicinal Foods found that obese people who took oral supplements of purified shilajit responded better to exercise than those who did not.
    The high content of essential microelements in the resin stimulates metabolism, which also contributes to effective weight loss. The course of treatment should not be less than 20 days. You should take 0.2 grams of mumiyo twice a day. Regular consumption will normalize electrolyte metabolism and also help the body get rid of the bulk of unnecessary fat reserves.
    Mumiyo is able to quickly compensate for the deficiency of important substances at the cellular level, due to which harmful substances and toxins are retained in the body.
    During the three-week course, give up alcoholic drinks and very fatty foods, giving preference to fruits.
    It should be noted that such weight loss is contra
